ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

McDougall Energy is looking for a skilled and safety focused individual to fill the position of Professional Delivery Driver, to join our Burford operation. This position is a seasonal contract on a night shift, Monday to Friday schedule, with overtime to meet customer needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of products while upholding a high standard of customer service. Safety is paramount, and we expect our drivers to demonstrate safe driving practices and professional conduct on the roads and when interacting with customers. We value your skills and offer an exciting work environment where you can get your wheels turning.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, responsibilities include:

Ensuring the safe delivery of bulk product to our client’s fleet, heavy equipment, generators, or bulk tanks within a designated area
Inventory control of bulk product on truck
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related documentation including E-logs
Providing exceptional customer service
Work outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customer needs
Use a handheld computer device to monitor the flow of fuel being input and dispensed from the truck

ABOUT YOU:

The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum 2-years driving experience with a valid DZ license
Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to be a team player
The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Numeric ability and strong problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel
Flexibility to workday or night shift, as well as continental or 4 on 4 rotation

This position is physically demanding, involving significant lifting and pulling in an outdoor climate. The successful candidate will be required to successfully pass pre- and random drug & alcohol testing and must have a safety and compliance mindset.
