Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Flooring Installer and bring expert craftsmanship to residential and commercial spaces! In this role, you'll be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials with precision and care, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and durability. Your expertise will help transform spaces, creating beautiful, functional environments that clients will love. We’re looking for motivated individuals who thrive on hands-on work, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in delivering exceptional results. Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine flooring layouts and installation procedures
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayments or adhesives for optimal flooring adhesion
Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and install various flooring materials such as hardwood, tile, laminate, vinyl, or carpet
Measure spaces accurately to ensure precise cuts and proper fitting of flooring materials
Collaborate with team members on framing, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work or restoration tasks related to flooring projects when necessary
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal throughout each project phase
Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during installation activities

Experience

Proven experience in flooring installation or related construction fields such as carpentry, masonry, or restoration
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, hammers), power tools (e.g., saws, drills), and heavy equipment operation when required
Knowledge of various flooring materials including tile laying techniques and concrete finishing methods
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
Experience with plumbing or electrical work is a plus but not mandatory
Strong understanding of safety procedures within construction environments
