Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Paint Shop Painter to join team. This is a full-time position offering steady hours, opportunities for overtime, and a comprehensive benefits plan.

The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, works well in a team environment, and maintains a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Prepare materials and surfaces for painting (sanding, cleaning, masking, etc.)
Apply paint and coatings to lumber and related materials using spray equipment and other tools
Ensure consistent coverage and quality standards are met
Operate and maintain paint shop equipment safely
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Assist with general yard or shop duties as needed

Qualifications

Previous painting or industrial finishing experience preferred (will train the right candidate)
Experience with spray equipment is an asset
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
