Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking versatile and skilled professionals to fill multiple roles including Welder/Brake Operator, Fabricator, Machinist, Part-Time Office Administrator, Yard Person, and Delivery Person. These positions offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment where your technical skills and hands-on experience will be valued. The ideal candidates will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the flexibility to perform various tasks across different departments.

Duties

Operate welding equipment such as MIG , TIG and stick welders to fabricate and repair metal components
Kieson is CWB certified - having valid welding tickets are an asset and preferred, but not required.
Use plasma cutting and press brake machines for precise metal shaping and fabrication.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication.
Looking for an individual that has experience in MasterCam, Solidworks and Steel Solutions.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to perform machining and assembly tasks.
Perform rigging operations involving cranes or forklifts to move heavy materials safely within the yard or worksite.
Conduct basic machining operations on equipment such as lathes or mills as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the shop yard and fabrication areas.
Deliver materials or finished products to designated locations safely and efficiently as a yard/delivery person.
Requirements
Proven experience with welding techniques including MIG and TIG welding.
Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, machining, rigging, and construction processes.
Ability to operate machinery such as plasma cutters, press brake machines, cranes, forklifts, and hand/power tools.
Strong blueprint reading skills along with familiarity with schematics for manufacturing or ductwork projects.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
Knowledge of safety procedures related to welding, machining, rigging, and material handling.
Ability to lift heavy materials safely and work in physically demanding environments.
Valid certification or experience in crane operation or forklift driving is preferred but not mandatory.
Flexibility to perform multiple roles within the organization depending on project needs. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to apply their technical skills in a manufacturing setting while contributing to diverse projects across fabrication, maintenance, administration, yard work, and delivery operations.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
