Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager (QSR) to oversee daily operations at our quick-service restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service and restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, managing inventory, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. The Restaurant Manager will play a key role in driving operational excellence and fostering a positive team culture.

Duties

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling procedures
Manage POS systems including Micros POS to process transactions accurately
Lead team management activities such as interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food quality and cleanliness
Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cash handling duties
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment
Address customer concerns promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Implement operational policies to improve efficiency and service quality
Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality, and leadership

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest interactions professionally
Leadership skills with experience in team management, interviewing, and training staff
Background in food handling, hospitality, or hotel industry is a plus; barista or kitchen experience is advantageous
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Previous experience in quick-service restaurants (QSR) preferred
