Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. This role involves performing cleaning tasks across various areas, ensuring a hygienic environment for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
Maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets, windows, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks to ensure safety and functionality of the premises
Follow established cleaning protocols to meet health and safety standards
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Adhere to all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment when necessary

Requirements

Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners
Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment

Pay: $17.20-$32.11 per hour
