Citadel Roofing & Building Maintenance is a fast-growing company, providing quality roofing for commercial and residential buildings throughout the lower mainland. If you like working with great people, enjoy physical work, and like to spend your time outdoors then this is the job for you! Citadel Roofing & Building Maintenance is currently looking to build our 2 PLY Torch Team - looking for TORCH/FLAT ROOF FOREMAN and TORCH ROOFERS.

The Flat Crew FOREMAN will be responsible for:

Supervising and working with a crew to ensure safe and productive installation of flat roofing systems
Ensuring all project sites are set up to job specifications, including required equipment and scaffolding
Conducting safety meetings and workplace assessments/inspections
Inspecting work in progress and completed jobs for quality control
Ensuring and enforcing compliance with laws, rules and regulations, especially in accordance to WorkSafe BC Health and Safety protocols
Other duties as assigned.

The Flat Crew INSTALLERs will be responsible for:

Prepare, install, repair or replace, conventional 2 ply torch-on (built up roofing) systems using a variety of materials
Work with large and small roofing crews in a teamwork environment.
Ensure quality installation techniques are used and followed.
Set up scaffolding, guardrails, or other fall protection systems to provide a safe work environment.
Loading and unloading of materials
Use of hand tools and power tools for installation
Adhere to all job site safety requirements
Any other duties as needed

While we don't like turning away good candidates, Citadel Roofing & Building Maintenance is looking for 2 PLY TORCH FOREMAN that meet these minimum requirements:

5+ years’ roofing experience
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to install Torch On 2 PLY SBS roofing materials
Experience in a construction supervisor role an asset
Must be able to read plans and blue prints
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word Excel, etc.)
Ability to work in a team environment
Must be able to work at heights and in all weather conditions.
Ability to safely lift minimum of 50 lbs.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Valid Fall Protection Certification required
First Aid Level 1 considered an asset

While we don't like turning away good candidates, Citadel Roofing & Building Maintenance is looking for 2 PLY TORCH INSTALLERS that meet these minimum requirements:

2+ years’ roofing experience
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to install Torch On 2 PLY SBS roofing materials
Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Must be able to work at heights and in all weather conditions.
Ability to safely lift minimum of 50 lbs.
