Position Title: AZ Driver - Tanker + Dry Van

Location: Cobourg, ON

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5-6am start

Salary: $30-32 per hour

Position Description

We are currently seeking motivated, hardworking individuals for our AZ Operator role in our Cobourg location. This job will be a 50/50 split between a Tanker Truck and a Dry Van. The tanker will require pumping in and pumping out liquids and oils at various customer sites.

Position Responsibilities

Operating an AZ vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
Complete routes as assigned by Dispatch Coordinator
Transfer products to the appropriate drop off location.
Labour/Truck operation.
Maintain a proper logbook.
Perform load inspections.
Ensure the daily check-in at the end of the day and ensuring that paperwork is completed and accurate.
Complete assigned work in the allotted time.
Delivering a variety of assorted products where needed.
Other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

1-5 years of operator experience is preferred
Tanker experience considered a Strong Asset
Must possess a valid AZ license and submit current abstracts, personal and CVOR
Exceptional verbal communication skills
Must be able to successfully pass all required training, background check, and drug and alcohol testing.

Preferred Experience

Truck driving in Ontario during all weather conditions
Tanker truck experience
