Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to provide guests with memorable dining experiences while working in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. The position involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling payments, and ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with sanitation standards
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary needs
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Provide guest services that exceed expectations by being attentive, courteous, and professional

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of hospitality standards
Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues diplomatically
Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to perform basic math for bill calculations, tips, and cash handling accurately
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus but not required
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue
Good communication skills with team members and guests alike
