Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Liscensed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be attentive, professional, and capable of maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and loss prevention measures. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe workplace while developing skills in security operations.

Duties

Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism
Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
Enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance
Assist visitors and staff with directions or assistance as needed
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required
Conduct loss prevention activities by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or damage

Skills

Prior experience or training in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
Physical fitness to patrol large areas and respond quickly when necessary

This role is vital for maintaining a safe environment and protecting assets. Candidates should be committed to professionalism, integrity, and attentive service.

*A valid Saskatchewan Security Guard Licence is required and must be presented prior to employment.*

Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour
