Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Primary Health Care (Express Care Online)
Reports to: Clinical Lead, Virtual Care
Job Type: Remote/Virtual – Saskatchewan

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Reporting to the Clinical Lead, Virtual Care, the Nurse Practitioner will:

Assess and manage acute and chronic health conditions through virtual care, including diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, counselling, screening, education, and referral
Promote health education, disease prevention, and health equity across diverse patient populations
Apply current evidence-based guidelines to improve patient outcomes across the continuum of care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
Contribute to the development of virtual care policies, clinical protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
Participate in program evaluation, research activities, and continuous quality improvement
Provide clinical leadership and act as a resource to other healthcare professionals
Support the advancement of professional practice standards within a virtual care environment
Practice in accordance with Saskatchewan scope of practice and regulatory standards

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

Current registration, in good standing, as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Active licensure as a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner (NP-PHC) in Saskatchewan (additional provincial licensure considered an asset)
Minimum 3–5 years of Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care, virtual care, or urgent care settings
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and decision-making skills
Knowledge of Saskatchewan healthcare systems, referral pathways, and community resources
Understanding of applicable provincial legislation, including The Health Information Protection Act (HIPA)
Ability to work independently in a virtual environment and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
Excellent communication, organizational, and digital/EMR skills
Commitment to patient-centered care, quality improvement, and professional development
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends

The rate reflects the starting compensation for this position. The final compensation rate offered will be determined based on a holistic assessment of the candidate’s experience, education, training, licensure status, and alignment with the role’s expectations.

Pay: From $80.00 per hour
