Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Counter Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling food and beverage orders, and ensuring a clean and organized service area. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service environments, possess strong multitasking skills, and demonstrate a commitment to food safety and sanitation standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and upselling within a dynamic restaurant setting.

Duties

Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
Prepare simple food items in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a friendly attitude
Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, utensils, and equipment
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods
Assist in food preparation and kitchen duties as needed
Ensure all food handling complies with health regulations and safety protocols
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and creating a welcoming environment

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required
