Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packager to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing products for shipment by packaging them efficiently and accurately. This role requires a focus on quality, safety, and productivity, supporting the overall production process in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

We are looking to hire two workers to pack paper food containers. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The pay is CAD $17 per hour.

Responsibilities

Carefully package finished products according to specifications and quality standards
Operate packaging machinery and hand tools to assemble packages securely
Use forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials as needed
Assist with product assembly and ensure proper labeling and documentation
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Conduct quality checks on packaged items to identify defects or inconsistencies
Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures at all times

Requirements

Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly environments is preferred
Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools are advantageous
Ability to operate forklifts (certification preferred)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Good physical stamina to stand, lift, and handle materials throughout shifts
Basic understanding of packaging processes and safety procedures
Warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
