Housekeeping

Position: Room Attendant

Job Description:

Maintain guest’s rooms to the highest standards possible for cleanliness and physical readiness, meeting or exceeding Guest and Best Western Plus standards. The ideal candidate possesses high energy, ability to work efficiently and is a positive member of our hotel family. Your duties include:

Deliver excellent customer service, at all times
Maintain high standards of cleanliness
Work to daily job lists and service required bedrooms, bathrooms and corridors
Maintain appropriate stocking levels of all consumables on the cart based on guest arrivals and departures list
Report any maintenance issues immediately to your manager, including all furniture, fittings and equipment
Complete all periodical tasks, such as flipping mattresses, cleaning curtains and dusting lamp shades, etc.
Wash and fold Laundry
Fulfill all reasonable requests from guests, to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety
Report any security issues to your manager
Maintain personal knowledge by completing Best Western on-line training
Always adhere to all company policies and procedures
Carry out instructions given by the management team

Qualifications:

Must possess a professional presentation

Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
