Full job description

We are a busy and growing medical clinic committed to providing high-quality patient care in a professional and welcoming environment. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Office Manager to oversee daily operations, support staff, and ensure the clinic runs efficiently and smoothly.

Position Overview

The Office Manager will play a key leadership role in managing administrative operations, supporting clinic staff, and maintaining high standards of professionalism, efficiency, and patient care. This is a hands-on role requiring both leadership and active participation in day-to-day clinic functions.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily clinic operations and administrative workflows
Supervise and support front desk and administrative staff
Ensure staff adherence to policies, including scheduling, punctuality, and break procedures
Manage staff scheduling and optimize appointment flow
Address and resolve staff and patient concerns professionally
Develop and implement office procedures and systems
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of staff
Monitor clinic performance metrics (e.g., scheduling efficiency, cancellations, patient flow)
Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and clinic policies
Step in to assist with reception or administrative tasks as needed
Regular office hours

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience in office management or administrative leadership
Experience in a medical or healthcare setting strongly preferred
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Professional, confident, and approachable demeanor
Experience with scheduling systems and EMR software is an asset

Compensation

Competitive salary: $55,000 – $75,000 (based on experience)
Performance-based bonuses
