Full job description

We are seeking motivated, hardworking Concrete Laborers with experience in construction and/or agricultural construction to join our team in Red Deer, AB. The successful candidate will work as part of a crew to safely construct and finish high-quality concrete structures while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Build, erect, align, and dismantle wood and steel formwork for various concrete structures and foundations.
Place steel cast inserts and set anchor bolts according to project specifications.
Assist with site preparation, layout, and concrete pours.
Rough level concrete using rakes, shovels, screeds, and trowels.
Finish concrete surfaces by floating, troweling, edging, and brushing.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and survey stakes to establish correct grades and elevations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and workplace regulations.
Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Comfortable working at heights
Strong work ethic with the ability to work 12-hour shifts
Physically fit and able to consistently lift 50+ lbs.
Able to work in extreme conditions (cold, heat, dust, and dirty environments)
Experience in grain terminals or feed mills is considered a strong asset
Valid driver’s license
