Office/Marketing Administrator

Boyd Excavating Ltd. – Regina, SK

Boyd Excavating Ltd. is a growing trucking, and heavy equipment company looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Office/ Marketing Administrator to join our team. This is a full-time position that plays a key role in supporting our daily operations. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, is essential. Experience in the construction, trucking, or heavy equipment industry is considered a strong asset, as is a mechanical background.

Responsibilities

Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
Greet customers, suppliers, and visitors.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and office correspondence.
Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
Create and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and tracking documents using Microsoft Excel.
Assist with equipment files, maintenance records, and documentation.
Support bookkeeping functions, including invoice processing and purchase order management.
Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments.
Maintain office supplies and assist with general office organization.
Assist management with administrative projects and day-to-day operations.
Provide excellent customer service while communicating with customers, suppliers, and employees.

Qualifications

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong knowledge of formulas, spreadsheets, and data management.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks is an asset.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Experience in the construction, trucking, excavation, or heavy equipment industry is an asset.
Mechanical knowledge or experience working around equipment is considered a strong asset.
