Summary

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team in Canada. Based in [Location], this role is vital in ensuring accurate project cost assessments and fostering strong client relationships, aligning with our commitment to quality and integrity.
Responsibilities

Prepare detailed project estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
Collaborate with sales and project teams to develop accurate pricing strategies.
Utilize Bluebeam and HeavyBid software to enhance estimating accuracy.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of estimates.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing.
Support project managers during the bidding process and project execution.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction estimating, especially within roofing or exteriors.
Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms.
Proficiency in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and project management tools.
Excellent communication skills for client interactions.
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Knowledge of Canadian building codes and standards is a plus.
Construction experience is highly valued.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
