Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic food service environment, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position is essential in maintaining high-quality service and supporting the overall operation of our food service establishment.

Duties

Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and standards
Assist with food handling, plating, and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing guest needs
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
Handle cash register operations and process transactions accurately
Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient and friendly service during busy periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, food industry, or hospitality setting is a plus but not mandatory
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to serve in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with food preparation or barista skills is advantageous
Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if required
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
