Full job description

Neil Smith Construction Ltd. (NSC) is hiring Underground Utility and Earthwork Skilled Labor to join our team in the Greater Vancouver area. NSC is a privately held civil construction company specializing in excavation, site prep, and site servicing for commercial, and public sectors.

Major Responsibilities:

Excavation and Trenching activities
Utility Installation
Concrete Work
Equipment Operation
Site Preparation
Material Handling
Safety Compliance
Team Collaboration

Qualifications & Requirements

Proven experience as a Skilled Laborer in Civil construction, Earthwork, and Underground Utility projects.
Skilled at using different construction equipment, like cut-off saw, plate tamper, trench shoring's and etc.
Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
Physical strength and stamina for prolonged periods of manual labor.
Understanding of blueprints and project specifications is an asset.
