Position Summary

Spartan Glazing is looking for motivated and hardworking Glazier Helpers / Installers to join our growing team. Whether you are an experienced installer or looking to build a long-term career in the glazing industry, this position offers the opportunity to work alongside skilled professionals on some of British Columbia's most exciting construction projects.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, eager to learn, and takes pride in producing quality work.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the installation of commercial and residential glazing systems.
Install and assist with Window Wall, Unitized Curtain Wall, Stick Curtain Wall, storefront systems, doors, and architectural glass.
Safely transport, unload, and handle glass, aluminum, and related materials.
Assist with measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing glazing components.
Prepare work areas and maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Assist with membrane application, waterproofing, and finishing installations.
Follow installation drawings, work instructions, and supervisor direction.
Perform quality checks to ensure installations meet Spartan's standards.
Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
Follow all WorkSafeBC regulations and company safety procedures.
Report any safety concerns or job site issues immediately.

Qualifications

Previous construction or glazing experience is considered an asset.
Experience installing Window Wall, Curtain Wall, or storefront systems is an asset.
Ability to safely lift and carry heavy materials.
Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Valid Class 5 Driver's License is considered an asset.
Fall Protection certification is an asset.
Elevated Work Platform certification is an asset.
First Aid certification is an asset.
