Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Tattoo Artist to join our vibrant studio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for body art, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Tattoo Artist, you will work closely with clients to bring their visions to life while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your artistic talents in a professional environment that values innovation and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas, preferences, and expectations
Design custom tattoo artwork tailored to each client’s vision
Prepare skin and ensure proper sanitation before beginning the tattoo process
Operate tattoo equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all health regulations
Maintain a clean and sterile work environment at all times
Educate clients on aftercare procedures to ensure proper healing of tattoos
Manage appointment scheduling and walk-in clients with professionalism
Upsell related products such as aftercare creams or body jewelry when appropriate
Provide exceptional guest services, ensuring a positive studio experience for every client
Assist with studio operations at the front desk as needed, including product demos and retail sales

Experience

Prior experience as a Tattoo Artist or in a similar body art role is preferred
Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse tattoo styles and techniques
Excellent communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration
Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a tattoo studio environment
Experience with retail sales, upselling, and product demonstrations is advantageous
Background in customer service, hospitality, or related fields enhances guest interactions
Additional skills such as body waxing, hair styling, eyelash extensions, makeup application, or nail care are considered a plus but are not required
