Job Overview

A&W is looking for an experienced and motivated Kitchen Supervisor to lead our kitchen team and help deliver great-tasting food and exceptional guest experiences. The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for ensuring food quality, maintaining food safety standards, supporting team development, and assisting with daily kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support kitchen staff during shifts.
Ensure all food is prepared according to A&W standards and procedures.
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Assist with inventory management, product ordering, and stock rotation.
Train and coach team members to ensure consistent performance.
Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste management.
Help manage labour, productivity, and shift execution.
Address operational issues and support restaurant management as needed.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant or fast-food experience required.
Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety practices.
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
