Russel Metals is one of the largest metals distribution companies in North America, with a growing focus on value-added processing. Its network of metals service centers carries an extensive line of metal products in a wide range of sizes, shapes and specifications, including carbon hot rolled and cold finished steel, pipe and tubular products, stainless steel, aluminum and other non-ferrous specialty metals. Its energy field stores carry a specialized product line focused on the needs of energy industry customers. Its steel distributors operations act as master distributors selling steel in large volumes to other steel service centers and large equipment manufacturers mainly on an "as is" basis.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented individual for the position of Administration Clerk within our Sackville, NB branch. This is a full-time, 1.5-year contract that reports directly to the Branch Manager.

Branch Address: 141 Crescent Street, Sackville NB E4L 3V2

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Entry of inventory adjustments as required
Mill test report entry and retrieval.
System receiving of material as required
Reviewing and finalizing material processing forms
Invoicing
Processing MRA’s to credit customers
Continually upgrade skills within administration to ensure department’s goals and measurables are being met.
Provide back-up and support to co-workers when required.
Completion of administration related projects and tasks assigned by the Branch Manager and Regional Controller as requested.

REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 diploma
Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and flexibility in a fast-changing work environment
A team-first mindset and strong customer service orientation
Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and time management skills
Computer proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Effective communication skills (written and oral)
