Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, and assisting customers with product information and demos. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for sales and customer engagement. Bilingual skills and experience in retail or technical sales are highly valued to enhance the shopping experience for diverse customers. This position offers an opportunity to develop sales expertise while contributing to a positive store environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling and transaction processing
Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed information on merchandise
Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention
Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Manage cash register operations accurately, including cash handling and balancing drawers
Support inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and product organization
Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
Assist in training new team members on POS systems and customer service standards

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or technical sales preferred
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills required
Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills, time management, and phone etiquette essential for success

This role is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and working as part of a team to achieve sales goals.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
