Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Care Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our senior care facility. The ideal candidate will lead a team of caregiving staff, ensure high-quality resident care, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a compassionate approach to senior care, and experience in assisted living or nursing home environments. The Home Care Supervisor will play a vital role in fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for our residents while managing administrative responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of caregiving staff, ensuring adherence to care plans and safety protocols
Oversee medication administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, promoting professional development and team cohesion
Monitor resident well-being, addressing concerns related to dementia care and other special needs
Assist in developing and managing budgets for the department, ensuring efficient resource utilization
Conduct regular staff training sessions on topics such as senior care best practices, dementia care, and emergency procedures
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies through ongoing audits and documentation
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and residents to deliver personalized care plans
Manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times

Experience

Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is highly preferred
Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in healthcare or senior care environments
Knowledge of nursing practices, medication administration, and dementia care techniques
Familiarity with budgeting processes within healthcare facilities
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively
Experience working with elderly populations requiring senior care services is essential
Certification or training in nursing or related healthcare fields is advantageous
