Description of role and key responsibilities

The efficient management of inbound customer account queries
Good written and verbal communication skills including complaint handling
Good time management skills/ability to multitask
Prioritise accordingly to work within department SLA's

Core skills and knowledge

Thinking critically and using initiative to resolve complaints
Managing multiple queries simultaneously
Ability to negotiate the best outcome and make decisions
Strong communication (verbal & written) and active listening
Empathy and ability to build rapport with customers
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Effective time management and organisation
High attention to detail and accuracy
Analytical skills and client focus
Ability to identify, build and maintain strong relationships and communicate with key interfaces
To act with integrity at all times and embrace the philosophy of treating our customers fairly (compulsory)
Regulatory Knowledge as applicable to role (compulsory)
Coaching & Assessment (compulsory for Managers and Supervisors)

Technical knowledge

Understanding of lease and asset finance
AML/KYC requirements

Knowledge of Consumer Credit Act and other regulatory requirements
