Horaire de nuit de 00h00 à 8h15
Prime de nuit de 1.50 $ de l'heure

Pelican Intl est à la recherche d'un Opérateur au sein de son équipe d'extrusion. On a besoin de toi pour assurer la satisfaction de nos nombreux clients. Le kayak n’aura jamais été aussi populaire qu’aujourd’hui !

UNE JOURNÉE TYPE EN TANT QU'OPÉRATEUR À L'EXTRUSION C’EST :

Assurer l’alimentation en granule de la machine, granuler les retailles de plastique et empiler les feuilles sur la palette et emballer les palettes complétées et les identifier ;
Préparer le matériel et les outils pour la production;
Actionner des commandes afin de régler la température, la vitesse et autres conditions
Nettoyer la machine lorsqu’il y a des changements de matériel et de couleur;
Entretenir les machines et faire des réparations mineures au besoin;
Effectuer la tournée machine (lecture des données, vérification et enregistrement) et identifier les non-conformités dans les mesures de dimension d’une feuille.

CE QU’ON ATTEND DE TOI :

Tu détiens 3 à 5 ans d’expérience dans le domaine combiné à un DEP ou un DEC en plasturgie, en mécanique ou en opération d’équipement de production. Tu as les connaissances de base en mécanique et en extrusion. Tu as de l'aisance minimale avec les outils informatiques pour effectuer l’enregistrement des produits dans le système. Tu possèdes également de l’expérience reconnue comme opérateur ou assistant-opérateur et tu as de l’expérience dans la conduite de chariot élévateur (test à réussir après formation). Ton énergie positive t’aidera à être reconnu comme un joueur d’équipe sur qui tes collègues pourront compter. Tu accordes une grande importance à la santé et sécurité dans ton lieu de travail. Tu es sensible aux risques et tu participes à notre objectif de « zéro accident ». Petit plus, tu es en plein contrôle lorsque tu travailles sous pression.

Nighttime schedule from 00:00 am to 8:15 am
Night premium of $1.50 per hour
Rapid salary progression, and all this before the end of your probation period!

Pelican Intl is looking for an Operator to join its extrusion team. We need you to ensure the satisfaction of our many customers. Kayaking has never been as popular as it is today!

A TYPICAL DAY AS AN EXTRUSION OPERATOR IS:

Ensuring the feeding of pellets to the machine, pelletizing the plastic scrap and stacking the sheets on the pallet and packing the completed pallets and identifying them;
Prepare materials and tools for production;
Operate controls to adjust temperature, speed and other conditions;
Clean the machine when material and color changes occur;
Maintain machines and make minor repairs as needed;
Carry out the machine tour (data reading, verification and recording) and identify non-conformities in the dimensional measurements of a sheet.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

You have 3 to 5 years experience in the field combined with a DEP or DEC in plastics, mechanics or production equipment operation. You have basic knowledge of mechanics and extrusion. You are comfortable with computer tools to record products in the system. You also have proven experience as an operator or assistant operator and you have experience driving a forklift (test to be passed after training). Your positive energy will help you to be recognized as a team player who can be counted on by your colleagues. You are sensitive to the risks of the workplace and are willing to participate in a variety of activities. You are sensitive to risk and contribute to our goal of zero accidents. You are in control when working under pressure.
