Overview

Join us as a an Audio Visual Technician and become a vital part of creating seamless, engaging event experiences! In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting a wide range of audio and visual equipment for various live events, conferences, and productions. Your expertise will ensure that every presentation, performance, or broadcast runs smoothly, captivating audiences and delivering impactful results. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your technical skills and creativity.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate audio visual equipment including microphones, speakers, projectors, lighting, and video displays to meet event specifications.
Utilize wall panels to turn on equipment
Conduct pre-event testing to ensure all systems are functioning correctly and troubleshoot technical issues promptly during events.
Collaborate with event organizers and production teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored AV solutions.
Manage cable runs, equipment placement, and safety protocols to ensure a secure and efficient setup.
Maintain detailed documentation of equipment configurations, usage logs, and maintenance records.
Assist in the calibration and fine-tuning of AV systems to optimize performance throughout the event.
Support post-event breakdowns by packing up equipment carefully and ensuring all gear is accounted for.

Requirements

Proven experience with AV equipment setup and operation in live event environments.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly resolve equipment issues on-site.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and project demands; availability for evening or weekend work as needed.
