Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, towels, and other laundry items to ensure a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Previous hotel experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and efficiency are essential.

Responsibilities

Operate laundry machines and equipment efficiently to process linens, towels, and guest clothing
Sort, fold, and organize laundry items according to established standards
Ensure all laundry is cleaned, pressed, and stored properly for guest use or hotel operations
Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including washing stations and storage spaces
Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating machinery
Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report any equipment malfunctions or shortages
Support cleaning staff as needed to uphold overall cleanliness standards within the facility

Skills

Prior experience in hotel or hospitality laundry services is preferred but not required. Training will be provided
Strong knowledge of laundry procedures and cleaning techniques
Ability to operate laundry machines safely and effectively
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Basic understanding of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation

Pay: $17.60 per hour
