Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This position requires strong leadership skills as you will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and contributing to a positive work environment.

Duties

Job description

· Manage a team of front of house staff including scheduling, training, general supervision and labor control.

· Oversee that all opening and closing duties of the restaurant are completed correctly and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained.

· Responsible for correct operation of the POS system.

· Balancing of all daily and nightly cash drawers and POS.

· Providing excellent customer service to guests and excellent leadership to employees.

· Exceptional relationship building and communication skills.

· Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards.

· Handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines.

· Work closely with all management to provide a seamless experience.

· Other duties as required and assign.

· Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have a strong initiative.

Job Specification:

· 2+ years restaurant experience.

· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

· Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.

· Knowledge of Microsoft applications including word and excel.

· High standards of personal hygiene and personal appearance.

· Ability to be on feet for several hours at a time.

· Experience using POS systems preferred.

· Smart Serve.

· Food Handler certificate or willing to do it.
