Join a Growing Team

Maxquip is expanding and looking for an experienced Transport Canada B620 Highway Tank Inspector to join our team in Saskatoon. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of a growing service department operating from our brand-new facility.

If you're looking for more than just another technician role, this position offers the chance to help build and grow our B620 inspection and repair division while working alongside a team that values safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

As a B620 Certified Pressure Vessel Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Performing B620 inspections on compressed gas (mainly LPG & NH3) specification TC331 & TC 51 highway tanks and related equipment .
Completing pressure testing and leak testing of various equipment (Highway tanks & Portable).
Performing tank repairs and refurbishments as required.
Installing and replacing valves and associated components as required. Rebuilding of Pumps, Valves & Compressors an asset.
Building and testing hose assemblies
Completing required B620 Cargo tank inspection reports and documentation accurately
Working both in the shop and field at customer locations throughout Saskatchewan as required
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Assisting with the continued growth and development of our B620 service operations

Qualifications / Experience

Required

Current B620 certification or actively working toward certification (TC331 Specification Units)
Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving abstract
Strong mechanical aptitude, must have own tool set.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable climbing ladders and standing for extended periods

Assets

5+ years of industry experience
Propane industry experience
NH3 (anhydrous ammonia) experience
Welding experience
Class 1A or 3A driver's licence

Schedule

Monday to Friday
