Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Helper/Server for our weekend meal service and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will assist with food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and provide friendly, attentive service to our guests. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and satisfied. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while working in a lively, fast-paced setting.

Hours for this permanent part time role are Fri, Sat and Sun 10 am - 6 pm

Responsibilities

Support food preparation by assisting with meal assembly, ingredient handling, and basic cooking tasks under supervision
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and managing waste disposal
Serve food and beverages to customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring proper presentation and timely delivery
Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure hygiene standards are upheld at all times
Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying staff of low stock levels
Help with setting up dining areas, including table arrangements and utensil placement for optimal guest experience
Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operation during busy service hours

Skills

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of serving techniques and food handling safety practices
Ability to assist with food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly efficiently
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with team members and guests
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Eagerness to learn new skills within the food industry and contribute to team success
