Full job description

Earl's Pharmacy is looking for a full-time Bookkeeper to join our team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities:

Report to the Store Operator/Pharmacy Manager and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank deposits
Handle bank reconciliations, financial statements, filing, mailing, and payment processing
Assist with mid-month and month-end billing for nursing homes and care home patient statements
Set up payment options and provide customer service for accounts, including notifying customers and the manager about delinquent accounts
Process payments, respond to customer inquiries, and manage the till and float
Order and track office supplies, maintain filing tasks (including prescription filing), and manage general office duties
Provide excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and through correspondence while supporting the Store Operator, Pharmacist, and central fill operations

Qualifications:

Previous bookkeeping or general accounting experience is required.
This entry-level role is ideally suited for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), internet, and email
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Professional attitude, grooming, and customer service skills
Strong initiative, prioritization, and the ability to take direction
Criminal Record Check required

Schedule:

40 hours per week.
The usual shifts will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
