Summary

We require someone who has a minimum of three years experience with operating a manual lathe and a mill.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Operate manual lathe and milling machines to produce high-quality metal components.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Follow work order instructions to customers requirements.
Validate quality of products.
Record dimensions and highlight deviated dimensions.
Set up and calibrate machines according to project requirements.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery.
Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes.
Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
Maintain accurate records of work performed.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the shop.
Work independently.
Ability to use precision measuring tools like calipers.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
