Full job description

We’re looking for an energetic and detail‑oriented Junior Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. This role plays a key part in day‑to‑day purchasing operations, inventory management, and ensuring timely communication across internal teams. This position is on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor weekly purchase order reports and track the status of incoming materials.
Create and place purchase orders with domestic suppliers for inventory, consumables, and MRO items.
Obtain weekly updates from suppliers on open POs to maintain accurate ship and arrival dates in the system.
Expedite or defer deliveries as needed to support operational requirements.
Collaborate with receiving and accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate PO billing.
Create and manage transfer orders within the MRP system.
Communicate quality issues to suppliers and coordinate compensation or corrective actions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation.
Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of procurement or purchasing experience.
Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, and MRP systems.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Proactive approach to issue resolution.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Demonstrated integrity, creativity, and adaptability.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
A positive, team‑focused mindset with a strong “can‑do” attitude.
