Integra Health Centre is a multidisciplinary medical and wellness practice serving Toronto’s Financial District, with integrated primary care, rehabilitation, and mental health services. Our psychotherapy team delivers both in-person and virtual counselling and supports individual clients, couples/families where appropriate, and programmatic work related to employee resilience, humanitarian work, and trauma-informed care.
ROLE SUMMARY

As a Registered Psychotherapist (RP or RP(Qualifying)) at Integra Health Centre, you will provide psychotherapeutic assessment and treatment to a broad range of clients, while working closely with physicians and allied health colleagues. You may also have opportunities to support workshops, groups, and manager coaching related to stress, resilience, burnout, and vicarious trauma, depending on active programs and contracts.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide individual psychotherapy, and where within your competency, couple and/or family therapy, for a range of mental health concerns (e.g., anxiety, depression, trauma, occupational stress, adjustment).
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments, develop collaborative treatment plans, and regularly review progress and outcomes.
- Deliver services both in person and via secure virtual platforms, ensuring adherence to privacy, safety, and risk-management protocols.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and comprehensive clinical documentation in Jane EMR, consistent with CRPO standards and Integra policies.
- Where relevant, support programmatic work such as workshops, psychoeducational groups, debriefings, and/or manager consultations on topics such as:
- Burnout and compassion fatigue
- Workplace mental health and psychological safety
- Participate in regular supervision/consultation, clinical rounds, and team huddles to support quality of care, risk management, and continuous learning.
- Coordinate care with Family Physicians, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, and allied health providers as appropriate, including collaborative treatment planning and referrals.
- Comply with all Integra Health Centre policies, relevant legislation (e.g., PHIPA), and the CRPO Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Counselling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related field that meets CRPO registration criteria.
- Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or RP(Qualifying) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
- Appropriate professional liability insurance meeting CRPO and clinic requirements.
- Strong clinical skills in at least one recognized psychotherapy modality (e.g., CBT, ACT, EMDR, EFT, trauma-focused approaches) and ability to work integratively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
Preferred Experience & Assets
- Minimum 3 years of counselling experience preferred, including experience with complex trauma, burnout, or high-stress occupational contexts.
- Experience in virtual care and/or group facilitation (workshops, psychoeducational groups, debriefs).
- Experience in humanitarian, international development, refugee, or similarly high-stress contexts is an asset.
- Bilingualism (English/French or other languages) is a strong asset for contract/program work.
