Overview
We are seeking a IELTS Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of the IELTS exam format and requirements. This role involves preparing students to achieve their desired scores through personalized instruction, practice sessions, and constructive feedback. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and professional futures by enhancing their English language skills.

Duties

Conduct engaging and effective IELTS preparation classes tailored to individual student needs
Develop comprehensive lesson plans focusing on reading, writing, listening, and speaking components of the IELTS exam
Provide detailed feedback on student performance and progress, identifying areas for improvement
Create practice tests and exercises that simulate real exam conditions
Monitor student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements
Stay updated with the latest IELTS exam trends, formats, and best practices in language instruction

Experience

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or related fields is preferred
Classroom experience is advantageous but not mandatory if strong tutoring skills are demonstrated
Excellent writing skills to assist students in developing their essay and report writing capabilities
Proven ability to communicate complex language concepts clearly and effectively
Familiarity with IELTS exam structure, scoring criteria, and preparation strategies is highly desirable

Pay: $18.25-$53.15 per hour
