Scheller Metal Fabricators Ltd. Is a Winnipeg, Manitoba-based Hydrovac and Vacuum Truck Manufacturer and Distributor. With a strong and growing demand for Hydro Excavation Equipment we’re looking to expand our team.

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Office & Bookkeeping Administrator to join our team in a temporary role. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining accurate records, experience in bookkeeping, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the day-to-day operations of an office.

Key Responsibilities

Perform reception duties, including greeting customers and vendors with a professional and friendly environment, directing calls, and maintaining a welcoming and organized office environment.
Maintain office supplies and support general office administration.
Enter invoices, expenses, reimbursements, receiving payments, and other financial transactions as needed into QuickBooks.
Maintaining customer, vendor, and employee profiles on QuickBooks.
Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
Collaborate with Procurement Manager as needed.
Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
Assist with bank reconciliations. Month-end and year-end.
Monitor accounts, maintain financial records.

Qualifications

Experience with QuickBooks is required.
Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning System, specifically Oracle NetSuite, is considered an asset.
Previous bookkeeping experience, including accounts payable and financial entries.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
Accounting education or experience is considered an asset.
