Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper / Accounting Administrator to join our finance team. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting overall accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with various accounting software and possess strong analytical skills to ensure the integrity of financial data. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where attention to detail and professionalism are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and transaction recording
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero to maintain accurate financial records
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
Perform account reconciliations for bank statements and general ledger accounts
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
Assist with payroll processing and related reporting requirements
Support budgeting processes by preparing financial reports and forecasts
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
Maintain organized documentation of all financial transactions and supporting files

Qualifications

Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, accounts payable/receivable, and account reconciliation
Familiarity with payroll processing and related compliance requirements
Ability to perform bank reconciliation and account analysis accurately
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Basic understanding of budgeting processes and financial reporting
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external vendors
Prior experience in accounting or finance roles is preferred but not required; relevant internships are also encouraged

This position is integral to maintaining the financial health of our organization, ensuring accuracy in all accounting functions while supporting strategic financial planning.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
