Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Window and Door Installer Helper to assist with installation projects in residential and commercial settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction and installation work, supporting skilled installers in delivering quality craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, reliable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. MUST be able to read a tape measure. experience doing interior trim work, operating an aluminum Break, proficient at running a caulking gun is a plus but not required.

Duties

Assist with the installation of windows and doors, ensuring proper placement and secure fitting
Use hand tools such as drills, hammers, screwdrivers, and levels to support installation tasks
Prepare work areas by measuring, cutting, and fitting materials according to schematics and blueprints
Support the removal of old windows and doors during renovation or restoration projects
Apply caulking to seal gaps and ensure energy efficiency and weatherproofing
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on-site

Qualifications

Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or related trades is preferred but not mandatory
Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction techniques is beneficial
Ability to read schematics or blueprints is a plus
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills
Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
Reliable transportation to job sites is preferred
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset

This position provides valuable on-the-job training in window and door installation and other types of work within the building trades. We welcome candidates eager to develop their skills within a professional team environment.

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
