Hamilton Region Emergency Veterinary Clinic is a trusted emergency veterinary facility dedicated to providing exceptional care when pets need it most.

We are veterinarian-led and deeply committed to supporting the wellbeing of our clinical team, recognizing that compassionate, high-quality care begins with those who deliver it. By prioritizing our staff, we ensure pets and their families receive timely, skilled, and empathetic emergency care during critical moments.

The Role:

We are looking for a rockstar Receptionist to join our growing team! Our Receptionists play a critical role in helping our medical team deliver exceptional care to our patients.

Your compassion and positive energy shine through as you greet customers and your attention to detail helps you support clinic operations. You are efficient, organized, collaborative and an excellent communicator.

Key responsibilities:

Greet pet parents, handle inbound phone calls and take ownership of addressing customer requests
Manage all administrative work, including: scheduling of appointments, tracking/ordering of inventory, and taking/recording of payments
Liaise with our partners (including suppliers, laboratory services, technology providers) to support seamless day-to-day operations of the clinic
Assist with other tasks relating to clinic operations, as needed

Your Qualifications

Excellent communications skills (both verbal and written) in English
Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, stay organized and work well in a fast paced environment
Positive and welcoming attitude
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Ability to work days, nights and weekends
Bonus if you have experience as a medical receptionist, specifically in the veterinary field
