Located at the gateway to the renowned Naramata Bench, Upper Bench Estate Winery & Creamery provides a distinct wine and cheese experience. Our establishment boasts a vibrant wine shop and an inviting outdoor patio. The patio, covered and misted, features an open-concept kitchen complete with a Forno Bravo pizza oven. Here, guests can indulge in authentic Neapolitan pizzas, charcuterie boards, and baked cheese dishes crafted with our premium cheese, all perfectly complemented by our award-winning wines. With seating for 36 guests, our patio offers the perfect setting for a seated portfolio wine tasting paired with our exquisite cheese selection.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced cook to join our team on a part-time seasonal basis. You will assist the Chef with all kitchen operations, including making our signature pizzas, cheese & charcuterie boards and baked cheese dishes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency. Help with prep, set up and tear down of kitchen, dishes, cleaning, care of herb garden and other duties required as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake Neapolitan pizzas, baked cheese dishes and cheese boards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Follow and maintain food saftey plan.
Proven experience as a Chef's assistant
Experince in pizza-making techniques, including dough preparation and stretching an asset but not required.
Excellent time management skills
Passion for quality ingredients and commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.Benefits:

Schedule:
