Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Route Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves managing daily sales routes, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the efficient delivery of products. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle physical demands such as heavy lifting. This position offers an opportunity to develop sales expertise and advance within a dynamic organization dedicated to providing exceptional service.

Duties

Safely operate a 16 foot box truck (no special license required)
Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions, and address concerns
Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
Merchandize products on store shelves according to company standards
Manage inventory levels, including pricing adjustments and stock replenishment
Maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries, and customer interactions
Perform heavy lifting when loading and unloading products
Organize daily route schedules for efficiency and timely deliveries
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all activities

Skills

Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and promote products effectively
Excellent customer service and communication skills to foster positive relationships
Knowledge of merchandising techniques and store presentation standards
Basic math skills for handling pricing, inventory counts, and sales transactions
Strong organizational skills to plan routes efficiently and manage time effectively
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more) as required by the role
Good problem-solving abilities for handling unforeseen issues during deliveries or customer interactions
