Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist Designer to join our team in Guildford Town Center, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, managing inventory, and providing excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Design and create floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions.
Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs.
Sell floral products and services while providing knowledgeable recommendations.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop and work areas.
Manage inventory levels of flowers, supplies, and equipment.
Operate POS systems for transactions and manage e-commerce orders when applicable.
Communicate effectively with customers to understand their preferences and provide exceptional service.
Handle landscape maintenance tasks as needed to enhance outdoor displays.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Florist or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong sales skills with the ability to sell products effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Proficiency in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
Familiarity with POS systems and e-commerce platforms is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and workflow efficiently.
Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
A creative eye for design and attention to detail in floral arrangements.
