We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a long-term career with a company that values teamwork, accountability, accuracy, and continuous growth.

The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping and accounting experience, advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. Previous experience in the trucking, transportation, logistics, or freight industry will be considered a significant asset.

Position Details

Job Title: Accounts Administrator
Vacancies: 1
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Unit #201, 15055 54A Avenue, Surrey, BC V3S 5X7
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as required
Work Location: In Person
Compensation: Competitive wage based on experience and qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum 2 years of accounting experience is required.
Previous hands-on experience with QuickBooks is mandatory.
Applicants without previous QuickBooks experience will not be considered.
Completion of high school is required. Post-secondary education in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Previous experience working for a transportation, trucking, logistics, or freight company will be considered a strong asset.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping procedures, and account reconciliation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism.
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Creating, processing, and sending customer invoices.
Recording daily financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.
Performing bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
Following up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and payment collections.
Processing vendor invoices and preparing payments.
Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting procedures.
Maintaining customer, vendor, and company records in QuickBooks.
Preparing reports and spreadsheets for management review.
Assisting with payroll-related administrative functions when required.
Supporting daily office and administrative operations.
Filing, organizing, and maintaining accounting and operational documents.
Communicating professionally with customers, vendors, and internal team members.
