Full job description

Multi-Action Communication is a stimulating and constantly evolving environment; are you up for professional challenges and a dynamic work environment? There is a motivated national team that is adding a team member.

The ideal candidate will be organized, motivated, meticulous, and driven; previous experience as an estimator in a manufacturing company would be an asset. International company with 18 manufacturing sites across North America. Benefits after 90 days – Extended health care, dental, long-term disability, life insurance – cost shared 50/50 with the company.

Responsibilities and duties:

Prepare the work to be estimated by gathering all information from internal sales;
Obtain material pricing and perform cost analysis;
Review product specifications to accurately determine material quantities required;
Write quotes and other documents accurately to create and submit proposals to clients;
Ensure estimates are completed in a timely manner;
Establish and maintain working relationships with other departments such as sales, planning, purchasing, customer service, production, and shipping;
Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as needed;

Skill Requirements:

Proven estimating experience (preferably in a manufacturing and/or technical environment);
Detail-oriented and high analytical skills;
Proficient at completing analysis and reports using Excel;
Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
Strong listening and presentation skills;
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively;
Ability to work in an organized manner and in a fast-paced environment;
Ability to work in team;
Ability to use computer tools (Microsoft Office, accounting, CRM, etc.).
