Make an Impact in Corporate Wellness at Curtis Health. We don’t just manage fitness centres; we build healthy communities. We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Fitness Coordinator to help drive the success of our corporate clients’ fitness facilities in Burnaby & Surrey. The Role: What You’ll Do

As the face of the fitness centre, you are more than just an observer—you are a motivator.

Community Catalyst: Engage members daily, answering fitness questions and inspiring them to reach their wellness goals. Assist in the rollout of monthly health promotion programs.
Facility Excellence: Maintain a pristine, safe, and organized environment that users love to visit.
Administrative Support: Handle member communications, membership processing (Burnaby only), and various stats and reports.
Strategic Support: Manage client resources, communicate effectively with management, and ensure seamless operations.
Brand Ambassador: Deliver "gold-standard" customer service, ensuring every member feels supported and heard.

What You Bring to the Table:

Degree in Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, or a related field.
Group Fitness Certification (BCRPA, canfitpro, ACE, or equivalent).
Current First Aid & CPR (Canadian source with an in-person component).
Asset: Personal Training Certification (BCRPA, canfitpro, ACE, or equivalent).

Technical & Soft Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and a quick learner for platforms like Square.
You are a versatile professional who can seamlessly pivot between administrative tasks and member engagement.
You remain calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and take full ownership of your workspace, whether working independently or as part of a team.

The Details

Coordinator Rate: $21.00 / hour
Schedules:
Burnaby (17 hours/week): Mondays 2:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M., Wednesdays 2:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M., and Fridays 8:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
Surrey (12 hours/week): Including classes. The current schedule is Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. (Flexibility on hours may be negotiated)
Earning Potential: Hours may be supplemented with opportunities for Personal Training (starting at $35/hr), Group Fitness instruction (starting at $27/hr), or additional Coordinator hours at other sites.
Benefits: Health Spending Account, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and complimentary access to the on-site fitness centres.
Start Date: ASAP
