Full job description

Job Summary

Sexy Living, a leading Canadian distributor in the Sexual Wellness industry, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Representative to join our team.

The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts while also identifying, approaching, and securing new business opportunities across Canada.

The ideal candidate will be a confident relationship builder with a strong sales background, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to develop new accounts and grow existing business.

This role requires regular travel to visit customers, attend industry events, and support business development activities across Canada.

Duties

Manage and grow relationships with existing customer accounts, identifying opportunities to increase sales and expand product representation.
Prospect, approach, and secure new retail and wholesale accounts across assigned territories.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers through outreach, networking, referrals, and industry research.
Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, presentations, proposals, negotiations, onboarding, and ongoing account management.
Conduct regular customer meetings, store visits, product presentations, and business reviews.
Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and account stakeholders.
Work closely with customers to identify opportunities for new product placements, promotions, and business growth.
Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, purchasing, and operations teams to support customer needs and sales initiatives.
Utilize HubSpot to manage customer activity, sales opportunities, follow-ups, and pipeline reporting.
Monitor sales performance against targets and proactively identify opportunities to improve results.
Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
Attend trade shows, industry events, customer meetings, and other sales-related events as required.
Provide regular sales forecasts, account updates, and pipeline reporting to management.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sales, account management, business development, or a related role.
Demonstrated ability to develop new business and successfully bring on new customer accounts.
Strong account management skills with experience growing existing customer relationships.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously.
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative sales team.
Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM platform is considered an asset.
Comfortable travelling regularly throughout Canada and occasionally to the United States.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's licence.
Must be comfortable working within the Sexual Wellness industry and with the nature of the products we distribute.

Compensation

Pay: $70,000–$90,000+ OTE per year, consisting of a $50,000 base salary plus commission.

The position includes an established portfolio of existing customer accounts. Based on the current level of sales within this portfolio, commission earnings are estimated at approximately $25,000–$35,000 annually, before any additional commission earned through new business development and account growth.

This provides an estimated on-target earnings (OTE) of $75,000–$85,000+ annually, with further earning potential based on growth of existing accounts and the acquisition of new customers.

Commission is performance-based and paid in accordance with the company's commission program. Actual earnings will vary based on sales performance.

Travel Requirements

This position requires approximately 30%–40% travel, including regular customer visits across Western Canada, prospecting and new-account meetings, and attendance at trade shows and industry events in Canada and the United States as required.

Reliable personal transportation is required for local and regional customer visits.
