Location: Sydney, NS

Schedule:

Monday- 8:00am-6:00pm

Tuesday- 8:00am-6:00pm

Wednesday- 8:00am-6:00pm

Thursday- 8:00am- 5:00pm

Friday- 8:00am-5:00pm

Occasional evenings and Weekends

The position offers a full-time schedule of 36 hours per week. The schedule may vary between and Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday schedule.

About us:

The Cape Breton Dental Group is a small group of locally owned and managed dental offices within the CBRM. We have offices located in Downtown Sydney, North Sydney, Sydney Mines & New Waterford.

The opportunity:

The Cape Breton Dental Group is currently looking to hire a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our busy and well-established group of practices. The successful candidate will have a passion for building strong patient relationships and contributing to their ongoing oral health. As we prepare to move into our new clinic, we will other full-time through our well establish clinics. with the full-time permanent position being located at our new clinic in Downtown Sydney.

Responsibilities:

· Assessment: Ability to complete initial and ongoing patient assessment

· Knowledge integration: Integrates best practice and current research evidence to support professional practice decisions.

· Critical thinking: Ability to problem solve via critical thinking and decision-making skills.

· Management: Organizational skills to manage time and resources efficiently.

· Teamwork: Demonstrates ability to foster teamwork and commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Requirements:

· Education from an accredited School of Dental Hygiene

· Be in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Nova Scotia

· Valid CPR
